The Hotel Bristol Verbier will process your cancellation requests according to the terms and conditions chosen as well as consumer rights laws where applicable. If you do reserve a non-cancellable and non-refundable promotional rate, you will not be entitled to a refund from us under any circumstances. Cases of non-faulty impossibility are governed by article 119 of the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO) on the basis of the above, we can answer the main questions relating to cancellations linked to the coronavirus (Covid-19) as follows:
  • The host cancels the stay because of the coronavirus (Covid-19) (subjective impossibility).
Articles 107 and following of the Swiss Code of Obligations applies. The general conditions of hotels include the obligation to pay for the overnight stay on the part of the guest. He can be reimbursed by his cancellation insurance under certain conditions.
  • The customer cancels because he is afraid of being contaminated by the coronavirus (Covid-19).
The normal cancellation conditions as stated in the general terms and conditions apply, the guest pays the hotel and can be reimbursed by his cancellation insurance under certain conditions.
  • The guest cancels the stay because there is no longer interest to come (e.g. the ski area is closed by order of the authorities, cancellation of a sports or cultural event) but the hotel remains open.
The normal cancellation conditions apply;
  • The guest wishes to leave earlier because of the coronavirus (Covid-19).
Application of article 266g CO. Possible compensation for the hotel due to all those circumstances
  • The host cancels his stay because he is stranded abroad due to a containment or a border closure (objective impossibility) as a result of the coronavirus (Covid-19).
Pursuant to Article 119 CO, the guest is released from his obligation to pay the agreed price if he has cancelled his reservation 1 day before the start of his stay; no damages are possible in favor of the hotel.
  • The hotel is closed or quarantined by decision of the authorities and cannot accommodate the guest.
Application of Article 119 CO, return of advances paid by the guest without deduction, no damages to the guest possible;
  • The hotel voluntarily decides to close its doors because of the coronavirus (Covid-19).
Cancellation of the contract, return of any advance payments made by the guest and claim for damages in favor of the guest (e.g. compensation for damage incurred due to the renting of a more expensive room in another hotel);
  • The hotel will refuse a guest from a risk area.
The hotel cannot cancel the contract and is liable to pay damages to the guest in the event of non-performance;
  • The hotel is under quarantine due to the coronavirus (Covid-19), the guests cannot leave.
This situation has never happened before in Switzerland. We believe the guest pay the costs (only) for accommodation and meals on the basis of the rules on illegitimate enrichment.
  1.  Up to 15 days before the arrival date: no cancellation fees
  2. Up to 7 days before the arrival date: 50% cancellation fees of the total amount of the reservation
  3. From 7 days before the arrival date: 100 % cancellation fees of the total amount of the reservation.
The hotel does not have private parking. However, 30 metres up the street after the hotel, you will find the public underground car park " les marais verts" at the rate of:

Switzerland benefits from an extensive rail network. The nearest major railway station to Verbier is Martigny. From Geneva, take the InterRegion 90 to Brig and stop in Martigny. Then take the train to Le Châble and stop at the terminus.
  • Once you arrive in Le Châble, you can take the télécabines which will take you to the centre of the ski resort.
  • Alternatively take the bus 251 (1x per hour) and stop at the terminus, La Poste. The hotel is at 2-minute walk away.

  • Rooms are available from 15h00. Subject to availability, you can check in and check out earlier. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage at the reception.
  • On the departure’s day, rooms must be vacated by 11h00. If you wish to stay in your room for a longer period of time, we will do our best to accommodate your request subject to availability; a supplement may be required. Luggage can be left at the reception until departure so that you will be able to fully enjoy your day!
All our room rates are calculated including the breakfast’s cost.
Yes, pets are allowed to stay. We will ask you a 10CHF supplement on your stay.

We do not have a room for this purpose. However, work spaces are available in the village and are less than 5min. walk from the hotel.
The hotel does not have a restaurant. We only offer breakfast. As Verbier is well deserved, there are many restaurants close to the hotel. We invite you to visit the website below to discover them.   https://www.verbier.ch/summer/
Our spa is at your disposal every day until 21h00. It includes a sauna, a rest area as well as a changing room and a shower.
We are at your service. If you have any intolerances/allergies or a special diet, please let us know in advance.
The hotel is non-smokin in the common areas. However, ashtrays are at your disposal on the terraces of our rooms.
The hotel is located on 5 floors. It benefits a lift from the ground floor up to the 4th floor.
